Blossom recipe

3 cold eggs
280g hongkong flour
220g caster sugar
1 tbs sponge gel
2 tsp vanilla essence
2 tsp baking powder
150ml fresh milk

For filling can use nutella or other sweet filling of your choice. Coconut will be nice.


1. Beat all the ingredients together until thick and fluffy. Add in ur favourite food colouring if u like to. (I use food colouring frm wilton)

2. Place the batter in a large piping bag for easy and clean pour 

3. Pipe out batter ( about slightly less than half ) into the red cups or any steaming moulds you have (lined with paper cup), top up with filling ( quantity is up to you ) – topped with more batter till almost full.
