Recipe adapted Cupcake Jemma
- 85g self raising flour
- 25g malt drink powder (such as Horlicks or Ovaltine)
- 15g cocoa powder
- 1/4 tsp bicarbonate of soda
- pinch of salt
- 125g caster sugar
- 135g unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large free-range eggs
- 1 & 1/2 tbsp whole milk
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 & 1/2 packets of Oreo cookies
For the Oreo Buttercream –
- 200g unsalted butter, softened
- 450g icing sugar, sifted
- 3 tbsp whole milk
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 packet of Oreos
